God's Calling
Jennifer Douma started Operation Outpour as a response to God’s calling on her life in November 2010. Following Jen Hatmaker’s Blog about Pastor Gaetan and his orphanage Yahveh Shamma, Jenn Douma contacted Pastor Gaetan regarding how Operation Outpour could further help. Pastor Gaetan said come… see Haiti for yourself. See the children, see the poverty, see where God would have you serve.
Jenn and her husband Greg left for Haiti in April of 2013. They didn’t know where they would even sleep that night but trusted God had a plan. After that first visit, they would forever be changed AND challenged to be the hands and feet of Jesus in a very practical way.
