“Let them give thanks to the LORD for His unfailing love

and His wonderful deeds for mankind,

for He satisfies the thirsty

and fills the hungry with good things.”

Psalm 107:8-9

Dear Friends and Partners,

We want to send you a quick update and a special thank you for all of your support this past month. Although this past week has been incredibly difficult, we know that God is still at work through Operation Outpour and is blessing the ministry in Haiti. This update turns our eyes to the great things that are still happening, amidst the pain.

Operation Outpour has had a lot going on! You, our faithful supporters, showed up! We had the Popup Boutique and Garage Sale, the Giving Tuesday campaign, and the Christmas Market at The Point Church all within the past month. We are thankful that the hard work of many volunteers, the support of partners, and the involvement of the community made it possible to raise the needed funds to launch the weekend feeding program this past weekend!

We are excited about this new initiative! When we found out that a number of the school families had little to no food on the weekends, we knew something had to be done. Thanks to the quick work of Ron Watson and the team on the ground in Haiti, we were able to hire the needed help, purchase the food, and start feeding hungry families last Saturday.

The cooks started working around 8:00 a.m., and soon, the children were showing up to play soccer in the school yard. Eighty people came for the noon meal on Saturday, and on Sunday, the crowd more than doubled in size. We are grateful that Sorbonne Christian Academy is becoming a gathering place for the community, where the light of Jesus shines.

Give thanks with us for the amazing things that God is doing at our school in Haiti!

Please Pray!

  • Pray that God would continue to bless the weekend meal program.
  • Pray that the school grounds would become a sanctuary for the community.
  • Pray for protection from gang violence and crime, and that Haiti would experience peace and stability.
  • Pray that God would remove any roadblocks and restrict gang activity so that food and supplies continue to reach the school.

Give to Operation Outpour

We appreciate your financial gifts, whether big or small, to support the school in Haiti. You are a blessing!
