Psalm 46: God is our Refuge & Strength
Philippians 4:4-7
Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus”
Psalm 34:18
The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.

Hello Partners and Friends,
By now you are all aware of the current situation in Haiti, primarily involving our school, our staff and all of our families. We are in communication daily, with our partner, who is also working tirelessly to help our families, as they too are his friends, family and community.
As of this writing, there are things we can share with certainty and there are things we need to ask for your continued prayer and support.
God is moving in Haiti:
- Praise God and THANK YOU to all that have given or plan to give to our Haiti Crisis fund. $2,420 has been raised to date. 100% of these funds have been sent to our partner who is distributing them based on the most urgent needs. Primarily temporary housing for those that have been displaced. We have learned that many are renting small rooms from others in unaffected areas. We can help with the cost of these rooms.
- The majority of our staff we have been able to contact and they have received their wages. Supporting our staff, our extended family, must remain at the top of our priorities.
- Two weeks ago, I connected with as many people as I could that have connections to Haiti; primarily other NFP’s or missionaries near Mirebalais. Through this amazing conversation and networking we are now able to purchase and donate much needed supplies like tents, tarps, flashlights, batteries and medical supplies that will be delivered in early May by Missionary Flights International. THANK YOU to all that have already purchased supplies! Many of our families are sheltering close to the drop off point and we are sharing with them the date of arrival. We need big prayers that word can reach all of our families that we are sending supplies. There will be a monetary donation sent as well which will be used to purchase food, water jugs and hygiene kits.
Links to the supplies needed are on our Facebook page or click link below. You can also scan the QR code on the right and that will take you to the Haiti Crisis Fund page on our website.
Friends, we are in a battle against evil, but our God is bigger and He is with us and blessing us every step of the way. Your encouragement, prayers and support through these most trying times give us the endurance to keep pushing through.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Jenn Douma, Director & Founder
