Operation Outpour is a 501 (c) (3) Non-profit Organization.
Our mission is to spread the love of Jesus to families that are impoverished, starving, and forgotten by feeding, clothing, educating, loving, and inspiring them through the faithfulness and support of our partners.
We envision a world where every child and every human has the hope of reaching their full potential unencumbered by poverty, suffering, and starvation.
Our primary focus is in Haiti where we are in the process of building a school in Mirebalais, Haiti.
Jennifer Douma started Operation Outpour as a response to God’s calling on her life in November 2010.
Isaiah 41:9-10 New Living Translation (NLT)
9 I took you from the ends of the earth,
from its farthest corners I called you.
I said, ‘You are my servant’;
I have chosen you and have not rejected you.
10 So do not fear, for I am with you;
do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you;
I will uphold you with my righteous right hand
God called her out of “Comfortable Christianity” and put a restlessness in her heart.
- Following Jen Hatmaker’s Blog about Pastor Gaetan and his orphanage Yahveh Shamma, Jenn Douma contacted Pastor Gaetan regarding how Operation Outpour could further help.
- Pastor Gaetan said come… see Haiti for yourself. See the children, see the poverty, see where God would have you serve.
- Jenn and her husband Greg left for Haiti in April of 2013. They didn’t know where they would even sleep that night, but trusted God had a plan.
- After that first visit , they would forever be changed AND challenged to be the hands and feet of Jesus in a very practical way.
